Purple.

Tis the colour of the season.  I was in love with this colour a couple of weeks ago.  Not to say that I'm still not but I thought I would create a few cards in my favourite hue.  The above masterpiece I did with my stamping group.  We did a black red and white one for Valentine's Day.  I used the different hues of purple to emphasize the multiple folds in this card.

I am loving the monochromatic theme lately.  Plus I got to bring out some old stamp sets I haven't used in a while

Plus, I couldn't resist pulling out my Fifth Avenue Floral from Stampin Up.  How did I ever live without this set!

Clean and Simple.

Clean and simple!  That's it.  With all the complications in life lately.  I needed something simple.   These cards are simple and to the point but it's still fresh and eye catching.

Love the cute little balloons.  What else can I say.  Again, clean and simple and to the point.

I keep borrowing this stamp from my mother in law.  I love the simplicity of this stamp.  I may have to purchase this set for myself.

Fabulous Florals.

I just had to showcase these florals I worked on last spring.

Can you tell I love my Fifth Avenue Florals set. It's my go to set.  Here is a picture of the inside of the card.  As I thought that the card looked great outside but inside is a whole different game!

I love the colors against each other.  One of my favourite Stampin up cardstock colours.  Kiwi Kiss paired together with Pink Passion.

Here are a few others that I did last spring as well, with a bit of a birthday theme.

I plan on using more and more of the florals this season.  But I think for the next set of cards I will be brave and try some non conventional colours.

Reminds me of a summer night.

I did this card last year.  We did it with my stampin group and I still love it.  It's so reminiscent of summer nights.  I love the different shades of blue in this card and how that reminds me so much of summer nights.  The silhouette of the grass against the blue dusk sky is such a strong contrast of colour but at the same time it compliments each other.

Easter.

.

Easter! Oh how I love Easter. The colours, chocolate, bunnies and eggs. Who can resist these yummy little treats. You really can't have only one.  Couldn't you just reach in and just grab a handful.  Mmmm! Love these.

Easter egg hunt!  How much fun do you remember having an Easter egg hunt.  That tricky little Easter bunny.

According to my nephew, this is what the Easter bunny HAS to bring for Easter.  It's just not Easter without the gold bunnies.  Now isn't that a great outlook on life!!

Until next year Easter.

Wedding Things

Recently I've been hired to design and produce the entire stationary line for a friend's wedding.  Working with her fabulous colours, I think I've created a very stylish and contemporary line.

This is her Save the Date I've created for their wedding.  I love the colours together.  She did a great job at picking the colours.

And also for the record, I love the flourishes!  They have that hint of being very traditional but modern at the same time.

These are just a few other samples I created for them.  They had to pick one and I think they made a very classic and elegant choice

I love Wedding things! I absolutely love creating things for weddings. I love seeing the look of joy on a client's face when they see a bit of themselves in their own personalized stationary

Stay tuned for more after the wedding!
