Something Old.

How I love old antique looking things. Especially cards.  When it looks like you have had that card for ages and in reality you just made it 5 minutes ago. We did this card in my stamping group last year.  The cracked glass effect was so much fun to do.  We used a glassy glaze embossing powder and did it a couple of times, froze it and then broke it apart.  That was the fun part!  Rubbed a bit of Chocolate Chip ink over it and voila! Beautiful and antique looking.

Very shabby chic!

Birthday goodies

These were given to us by my mother in law.  I love how clean and simple they are.  Plus who doesn't love getting birthday cards in the mail.

This was my card.  Loving the yellows this season.

Hubby's card with the pinwheels.  Super cute and I love how it's all done with paper.

Many thanks to my mother in law for the cute cards!

Fabulous Fathers

So yes, a bit late in posting these Father's Day goodies but with my work load lately it's better late than never.

I love these little guys.  The little owls were rub-ons that were sadly discontinued.  Like all good things discontinued, hopefully they bring them back in the future.

A Crushed Curry Father's Day.  Love this colour palette.  These little trees are so versatile.  I think it's my most used stamp set.

Hope the Dad's enjoyed them as much I enjoyed making them!
