Gnomes.

What else can I say about these little guys.  I love them!  With the warmer weather upon us, it's seemed very fitting to showcase these little Gnomes.  These little guys are from Stampin Up and are sadly discontinued.  Hopefully they will bring back another line of stamps with them.

I love the way that the gnomes look against the stark white paper.  It's so crisp and clean.  But I love the contrast as well.  The crispness of the paper as a backdrop for the very traditional gnomes.
Hopefully the weather will keep up and I can bring these little guys out for real.

Lovely Spring Things.

Spring is definately in the air.  So I figured that I would post a few projects I worked on that was inspired by Spring.   The box was so much fun to make.  Plus I think the shoe adds a bit of va va voom.

I especially love this little book.  I'm really loving the greens and pinks this season.  It's so fresh and light but still contemporary and pretty.

This is the little book all opened up.  I love how versatile this book is.  You can use it so many different ways.  I stamped little sentiments inside but you can put pictures, write little notes.  I can't wait to give this away.

Stay tuned for more lovely spring things.  I'm definately inspired.

Welcome

Lately I've been asking myself, "What is my thing?" Everyone I know has a "thing". Wether they are a fantastic cook, a great athlete or a superb teacher. I mean, I'm a wife, a sister, a daughter, a teacher. But what do people think about when they think about me. Then it dawned on me. Paper! Yes, wait and let me explain. It's not as boring as you would think. For as long as I can remember, I had a love for paper. The more the better. Paper! Different colours and shapes, sizes and textures. The colours were my favourite. When I was a kid, there was nothing better than getting a stack of brightly coloured paper all to myself.

Later in life, I learned to love the world of paper crafting. From cardmaking to scrapbooking to pretty much anything in life that paper is an accompaniment to. From invitations to weddings and showers to place cards and special announcements. I do it all.

This blog is to share my love of paper with everyone. But not just paper. The special things I can create with paper and all the lovely things in between.

Thanks for reading and I hope you all enjoy!
